Agility Animal Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy

Animal physiotherapy and rehabilitation is an interactive therapy that requires the participation of you, your pet and the therapist.  At the initial assessment, you will be asked about the full history of the presenting problem and your pet will then be assessed by the therapist.  The contributing problems will be identified and a treatment plan developed.  Treatment is always tailored to achieve the goals that have been identified by you and the therapist. Treatment will continue while progress is being made towards these goals.  If there are any concerns about your pet's progress, we will liaise with your treating vet.
At your treatment session, it is more than likely that you will be given a "homework" sheet including exercises, advice and possibly massage.  The homework is an integral part of treatment that will accelerate your pet's rate of recovery and reduce the number of treatment sessions that you need to attend.  The homework can be adapted to fit your lifestyle and may be as little as 10 minutes per day.
